G.I.S. Prolog
G.I.S. Prolog is a specialised Prolog Interpreter, suitable for G.I.S. research work. Based on PDC's original "Prolog Inference Engine", it uses the standard Prolog syntax (K&M).
G.I.S. Prolog includes an enhanced set of predicates, including a number of fast predicates implemented in optimised 32-bit Assembly Language; many of them relevant to G.I.S. research work.
Entirely new features of G.I.S. Prolog:
G.I.S. Prolog was developed by George A. Stathis (www.omadeon.com), on behalf of E.N.B. Ltd (www.enb.gr), a company actively involved in practical G.I.S. projects, in Greece and throughout the world.
The current version (1.01) of G.I.S. Prolog is free, i.e. Public Domain. If you have new ideas, criticisms, or requests (e.g. of desired new predicates) you are welcome to send an e-mail to the author (george@enb.gr).
